The short answer
Start looking for a new outlet the day you receive notice. Domestic capacity is often full, but across Europe there are processors that can take your stream, provided the shipment is arranged in time.
First, check your notice period
Most processing contracts have a notice period of three to six months. Use that time to map your streams: volumes, waste codes and recent analyses. A complete picture makes it much easier to find a new outlet quickly.
Look beyond your own borders
If domestic processors are full, a cross-border outlet can be the answer. For many streams that means a notification procedure, which takes several months. Starting early keeps your waste moving without a gap.
Keep your options open
A single outlet is a single point of failure. We spread volumes across several processors and countries, so one change in the market does not stop your operation.
